Mazda MX5 2007 2.0 Z-Sport

I have this gorgeous Mazda MX5 2.0 Z-Sport for sale. The Z-Sport was a special edition offered in 2007 only and just 400 were produced. Its based an a 2.0 Sport model so has a 158bhp engine with six speed gearbox, Torsen limited slip differential and Bilstein suspension. Inside, it has leather heated seats, Climate Control, electric windows and mirrors and a leather rimmed steering wheel with stereo controls.

As it’s a Z-Sport, its finished in unique Radiant Ebony Mica paint which is a very dark purple –(ish) colour and when the sun lands on it, it really sparkles and looks pretty special. Inside the seats are finished in Stone coloured leather and the rest of the interior features lots of aluminium trim pieces. The exterior has chrome door handles, lower front grille along with fog lights. The Z-Sport is also fitted with unique 17” BBS alloy wheels. It all makes for a real stunner of a car.

This one has covered just 53200 miles and has a full service history backed up with lots of receipts. Within the last few months, its had a new battery, new anti-roll bar links and full underside protection treatment carried out which included removing all arch liners and covers etc and treating with Lanoguard. This was carried out by a specialist company at a price of £525. An inspection of the underside shows it to be exceptionally good.

Bodywork is equally good with no rust anywhere. There is the odd very small car-park type dent but you’ll do well to spot these – they are quite insignificant. Its fitted with a matching set of Bridgestone tyres all in good order. The wheels are all pretty good though a couple have light kerb marks. Inside, all seats, trim etc in very nice clean condition. Its fitted with black carpet mats too. The original stereo has been fitted with a modern touchscreen system which allows you to stream music etc from your phone (and probably does a lot more than that too). This has been fitted in a way that still allows the steering wheel controls to work perfectly too. The standard aerial has been replaced with a more modern stubby aerial which suits the car.

The engine bay is tidy and clean as is the boot. It still has its original tyre inflation kit (which usually goes missing from Mk3s). The black mohair soft top is in good condition and the car is free from leaks etc.

Its just terrific to drive too. Everything works just as it should and it handles exceptionally well too. Its fast, smooth, reasonably quiet and I have to say that its worlds away from an MX5 Mk1 for example. This could easily be used every day though it still feels special enough to save for weekends and holidays. I’ve covered about 200 miles in it and its so good to drive.

Its just been serviced again and if the asking price is met, I’ll include a new MOT along with 6 months warranty (administered by Warranty First). I have two keys and a folder full of paperwork including the original Mk3 brochure. Price is £6495.

STATUS: Available now and deposit secures it.
